What a wonderful day at Edgbaston yesterday with the year 5 cricket team. They played really well as a team and showed improved skills on the field, as well as being praised by other school teachers for their politeness throughout the day.

Throughout the tournament, we were told that 137 schools took part in the local and regional games in Warwickshire and overall we came 21^st – such an amazing achievement for our team, they should be proud of themselves.

A big well done from all of us at Newdigate primary and Nursery school.
