Periscope: October 2020
The children in Year 6 have been creating periscopes. They have learnt key concepts about light and how light travels in straight lines. Children used mirrors within their investigations to show how light can bounce off mirrors.
Can you make a loop game using your knowledge of electrical circuits?
Some of the children in 6S, wanted to create a game using electrical circuits. I challenged them to create a loop game whereby a hook is used to go around the loop that is connected in a series circuit. The children used a light bulb, as the component which would trigger if the loop had been touched.
