Coventry Cathedral - Year 3 trip
On Wednesday 30th January 2019, Year 3 visited Coventry Cathedral. They spent time exploring the ruins and learning about the church before the Coventry Blitz destroyed the original building. They then spent time in the new building which was opened in 1962, learning about various significant pieces art and architecture which were designed to link Christian values to lessons learnt from the war such as ideas of peace and reconciliation. All of the children showed great enthusiasm and the Cathedral staff praised every child for impeccable behaviour all day. Well done, Year 3
