This week in Maths we have been comparing the value of tenths and hundredths. We have been using our Dienes equipment to help us show tenths and hundredths as decimal numbers and to compare numbers with up to 2 decimal places.
As part of our Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age topic work we have been researching Stonehenge. We have been considering why and how it was built. We have even had a go at creating our own Stonehenge model....using cheese puffs!
Science - Electricity
In science, we have been looking at electrical safety. We have built our own circuits to power lamps, motors and buzzers. We have then used these circuits to investigate if different materials are insulators or conductors. This week, we will be building our own switches and discussing how these are used in circuits. Look out for more photos!
