Investigating Charles Darwin's Theory of Evolution: January 2019

The children have been studying the topic: Evolution and Inheritance during the science lessons. Key concepts such as the Theory of Evolution has been taught. Children investigated Charles Darwin's theory through the difference between smaller and larger beaks. Children understand that the Galapagos finches which had smaller beaks became extinct due to the fact that their beaks were not able to retrieve larger seeds from deeper spaces. Furthermore, they were unable to break the larger seeds making them unsuited to their environment.
